Sochi

The Big Sochi stretches for150 km between Caucasian foothills to Black Sea coast: from the river Shepsi on the North-West to the river Psou on the South-East. The coastal territory leans to the Sea. Sochi consists of Adlerskiy, Hostinskiy, Central and Lazarevskiy regions that exist as independent resort zones with a variety of resort settlements from Magry on the North-West to Adler on the South-East. Sochi is intricately linked to the history of the Soviet Union and modern Russia. Generations of Russians have made Sochi their vacation destination of choice, Stalin had his dacha in town (you can still visit it!) and Putin has his summer residence here as well.
